Psychological thriller from Mandate
Who’s keeping tabs on Ellen Page’s rapidly growing “to-do” list? Variety says the Juno Academy Award-nominee has signed to star in Mandate Pictures’ Peacock with Batman Begins‘ Cillian Murphy.
The psychological thriller, set in Peacock, Nebraska, tells of a man (Murphy) with split personalities who fools the town into believing his two alter egos are man and wife. A struggling young mother (Page) holds the key to his past and sparks a battle between the personalities.
Michael Lander will direct from a script he co-wrote with Ryan Roy. Shooting begins in May. Page recently committed to Sam Raimi’s Drag Me to Hell.
