Project set up at Rogue Pictures
Looks like we were not crazy after all.
Variety has confirmed Ray Wright is penning a new draft of The Crazies. The trade paper adds Rogue Pictures picked the film up out of turnaround at Paramount Pictures and attached Breck Eisner (Sahara) to direct. He’s also expected to turn out a remake of Creature from the Black Lagoon for Universal at some point in his lifetime.
Dean Georgaris and Michael Aguilar are on board as producers. Variety states production is expected to begin “as soon as a SAG deal is made.”
