Simon Baker (Land of the Dead), Paz Vega (The Spirit) Claire Forlani (Meet Joe Black) and Ken Davitian (Borat) topline the psychological thriller Not Forgotten.
Set in a southern Texas border town, troubled couple Jack (Baker) and Amaya (Vega) must overcome the emotional baggage plaguing their past to find their missing daughter Toby (Chloe Moretz of The Eye). Steeped in Latino mysticism, their grasp on reality gets hazy as they frantically work to find their child.
Music video and short film helmer Dror Soref makes his feature debut with “Forgotten.” He’s co-producing the picture with David Zuckerman. Kirk D’Amico of Myriad Pictures is executive producing. Tomas Romero co-penned the script with Soref who cut his teeth in the biz helming Weird Al music videos. Later, he’d direct the acclaimed short film “The Seventh Coin” with Peter O’Toole.
