And good news for Day remake
The Zombie Diaries, the UK undead effort we introduced you to here, has been acquired by The Weinstein Co., says Fangoria. The title will be handed off to Genius Entertainment, TWC’s partner in DVD distribution.
In other AFM pick-up news: David (Snakes on a Plane) Ellis’ Asylum (more details here) is now at MGM; Living Hell, starring Johnathon Schaech and Erica Leerhsen, is set to debut on the Sci-Fi Channe (eek!); and First Look has taken a bite out of Steve Miner’s Day of the Dead remake. The company is aiming to give it a limited theatrical release (roughly 500 screens).
