Creepy kid thriller comes home in January
Counter-programming. That’s what they call the kind of release Fox Searchlight’s Joshua received in July. For all of the aggressive, loud big budget movie fare gobbling up audiences’ attention, there needs to be a balance with something quietly unsettling or thought-provoking. Joshua was that kind of movie, and now the film that generated some buzz at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival is finally coming home on DVD January 8th via Fox Home Entertainment. Special features include an audio commentary by writer-director George Ratliff and writer David Gilbert, cast and crew interviews, deleted scenes and the Dave Matthews music video for the song entitled “Fly” (featured in the film’s end credits).
