Strangers, Doomsday Move to Universal

Slight change in distro plans

Variety is reporting Rogue Pictures (a appendage of Focus Features) transferred marketing and distribution duties for the Liv Tyler-starring The Strangers and Neil Marshall’s Doomsday to big poppa Universal Pictures. The decision was made to “to expand the scope and scale of [Focus’] production and distribution slate.” No news yet on when both pictures are coming out, but Universal definitely has plans for them in 2008.
