Horror film began shooting this week
Virginia Madsen will be joined by two pretty solid character actors in her latest feature The Haunting in Connecticut, the supernatural thriller we exclusively told you in-depth about here.
Martin Donovan (pictured, Wind Chill) and Elias Koteas (Skinwalkers) have signed on to play Madsen’s husband and a priest, respectively. Kyle Gallner is another new addition – he’s set to star as Madsen’s cancer-afflicted son.
The story follows a family as they deal with the supernatural after settling into a new home. Shooting has begun in Winnipeg.
And, in case you haven’t noticed, the title has deviated somewhat from “A” Haunting in Connecticut to “The” Haunting in Connecticut – we presume to avoid confusion with the existing documentary called “A Haunting in Connecticut.”
