FEARnet schedules Oct. 1 release
Variety is arriving late to the party with the confirmation that Catacombs is being prepped for an online premiere on the VOD service FEARnet – a story we first broke here.
Right now FEARnet has pegged an October 1st VOD debut for the Shannyn Sossamon thriller. It will be available to stream on computers four weeks later on Halloween. Expect a DVD release early next year.
According to Variety, “Diane Robina, prexy of Fearnet, said that the 18-34-year-old Comcast digital subscribers targeted by the service avoid linear program schedules and are gravitating in bigger numbers to Fearnet, making it one of the top 10-rated VOD platforms out of a total of about 300 (including such powerhouses as HBO On Demand) among Comcast’s 23 million subscribers.
