Rewrites begin on apocalyptic actioner
A new script combining an apocalyptic flavor with a Terminator-esque twist is on the fast-track at Intrepid Pictures.
The company is hoping Rogue and Universal will throw some dough into The Fourth Horseman, a screenplay by Marshall E. Uzzle and Perry Fair that’s currently undergoing rewrites by F. Paul Benz and Steve Tomlin.
Story concerns a priest who knocks up a teenage girl he has been sent by his church to kill. You see, his superiors believe she’ll become pregnant one day and give birth to the fourth horseman of the apocalypse. Now there’s the distinct possibility this priest has made it all happen. Oops.
Marc D. Evans, Trevor Macy (The Strangers) and Mike Karz are producing.
