What Happens to Harry in MobLand’s Ending? Explained

MobLand has wrapped its first season, and fans are wondering what happens in the final episode to Tom Hardy’s Harry Da Souza. The season finale unveils whether the Harrigans or the Stevensons eventually come out on top and who becomes the undisputed ruler of the criminal underbelly of the English capital, at least for now.

Here is everything you need to know about MobLand Season 1 Episode 10 ending.

Does Harry die in MobLand’s ending?

No, Harry doesn’t die in the MobLand finale, though his fate is left somewhat uncertain. Harry plays a critical role in the Harrigans’ victory over the Stevensons in the war between the two families.

Geoff Bell’s Richie Stevenson and almost all his soldiers are eliminated. Afterward, Harry returns home to his wife, Joanne Froggatt’s Jan Da Souza. An argument ensues between the spouses due to the life they have been living because of Harry’s work. Jan cuts herself with a kitchen knife before accidentally stabbing her husband.

The scene shifts before anything substantial happens to Harry. He simply sits down and even makes a joke. This scene is likely there to offer the writers a possible way out in case Hardy, one of the busiest actors in Hollywood, can’t return for the prospective Season 2.

Where every major MobLand character is at the end

While Harry is arguably the most important character in MobLand, it has an ensemble cast. Here’s what happens to all the main characters.

Conrad and Maeve

Pierce Brosnan’s Conrad Harrigan and Helen Mirren’s Maeve Harrigan end up incarcerated, though it’s doubtful that they will remain so for long. Both seem to enjoy their current circumstances. The latter reveals to Conrad that she orchestrated the war to decide who would take the reins of the family in the future.

Seraphina

Mandeep Dhillon’s Seraphina Harrigan has had an antagonistic relationship with Maeve throughout the series. After it becomes clear that Paddy Considine’s Kevin Harrigan will become the de facto leader of the family in Conrad and Maeve’s absence, Seraphina agrees to meet up with Janet McTeer’s Kat McAllister, a cartel operative.

Kevin and Bella

Kevin and Lara Pulver’s Bella reconcile after candidly discussing their past trauma related to sexual assault. The latter promises Kevin that she will support him.

Eddie

Anson Boon’s Eddie survives the gang war. However, Kevin, having learned that the younger man is Conrad’s biological son, decides that he is no longer his concern.

Kat McCallister

McCallister unsuccessfully tries to convince Harry to betray the Harrigans. Afterward, she reaches out to Seraphina, likely believing that she could be an ideal tool to gain control over London.
