MCU fans are eager to know if Blade 4 starring Wesley Snipes has a release date and if it’s coming out. Ever since Snipes made his iconic appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine, fans have been pumped to see him return in his solo movie. Currently, Marvel Studios is busy materializing the Blade Reboot starring Mahershala Ali. Since its announcement, the project hasn’t come to fruition but rather faced multiple delays, including the director’s departure and writers’ strike. While the project is scheduled for next year, fans still hope for another Snipes-led fourquel.
Here’s all the Blade 4 release date information we know so far, and all the details on when it is coming out.
Is there a Blade 4 release date?
There is no Blade 4 release date as Marvel Studios haven’t announced any such project. However, a Blade reboot is scheduled for November 7, 2025, starring Mahershala Ali.
Snipes as Blade last appeared in 2004’s Blade: Trinity. However, MCU surprised fans by incorporating his cameo in the Ryan Reynolds-led Deadpool & Wolverine. Recently, Reynolds shared a Blade appreciation post featuring Snipes on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Along with behind-the-scenes photos, he also vouched for the MCU to give him a send-off movie like Logan. His caption reads, “There is no Fox Marvel Universe or MCU without Blade first creating a market. He’s Marvel Daddy. Please retweet for a Logan-like send-off.”
For now, it remains uncertain if the MCU will hear fans or Reynolds’s wishes. However, with MCU diving into the multiverse, there are many opportunities for his return as Blade either in a solo movie or again as a cameo in future films.
In addition, Snipes also addressed fans wanting to cancel the Ali-led Blade reboot and wanting him to return in an Instagram post. He replied to this news by saying, “Y’all crazy, haha.” Nevertheless, the audience will eventually have to wait for Marvel Studios’ response to Reynold’s request.
