Revolver 2024 Korean movie’s release date and cast have been announced. The storyline revolves around a former cop serving sentence for someone else’s crime. It stars A-list actors Ji Chang-Wook and Jeon Do-Yeon in lead roles.
The synopsis reads, “An ex-police officer embarks on a single-minded goal upon leaving jail, after serving a sentence for crimes committed under dubious circumstances.” Filmmaker Oh Seung-Uk has directed and written the action-crime thriller.

Revolver 2024 Korean film cast includes Jeon Do-Yeon as Ha Soo-Young, Ji Chang-Wook as Andy, and Im Ji-Yeon as Jung Yoon-Sun. This is the first time the Welcome to Samdal-ri actor will play a negative role.
In the movie, Soo-Young is a former cop who is in prison for a crime she has not committed. She goes to jail because of money promised by Andy. Soon the ex-cop realizes she has no-one on her side, including the latter. When she comes out of jail, Yoon-Sun arrives to pick her. Soo-Young becomes confused seeing a mysterious woman waiting for her. She then decides to seek revenge on Andy.
Viewers can expect a fierce Chang-Wook in the movie. Speaking about his character, he said in a press conference, “Seventy percent of Andy’s lines involve cursing. I thought it was a good way to show who he is, so I really played up the swearing. I felt the vulgar language would capture his personality very well, especially his insecurity.”
Aside from the aforementioned cast, the film also stars Kim Mi-Sook, Jeong Jae-Young, Kim Jun-Han, Jeong Man-Sik, and Kim Jong-Soo. Furthermore, it will feature Lee Jung-Jae in a guest appearance.
