He was seen standing near the Capitol’s entrance and “turned back and signaled for other rioters to come towards the entrance.” The report further suggests that Jay Johnston was arrested in June 2023 on the same charges. However, he was released on bail after submitting a $25,000 bond.
A footage of the actor that dates back to January 6, 2021 shows him assisting the rioters in attacking the guarding officers of the US Capitol, thus leading to a charge of felony being placed against him.
