Fans are asking about the shortest flight taken by Taylor Swift in her private jet. The singer-songwriter’s multiple flights in her private jet in recent years, especially to see her boyfriend Travis Kelce‘s various NFL matches, have instigated much discussion online. There has been a high degree of criticism aimed at Swift for the negative impact that her private jet usage has on the environment. There has been a lot of debate surrounding the topic, leaving many fans to wonder exactly how much Swift uses her private jet.
So what is Taylor Swift’s shortest private jet flight? Here is your answer.
What is the shortest flight taken by Taylor Swift?
Taylor Swift’s shortest flight taken is allegedly an 8-minute flight on January 30, 2024. The flight was from Cahokia/St. Louis, Illinois to St. Louis, Missouri.
As per Business Insider, the information was shared by JetSpy, a jet-tracking website. The flight also shared another record of a 21-minute flight prior to this from St. Louis Missouri to Cahokia/St. Louis, Illinois.
However, it is highly possible that Taylor Swift may not have been on the flight during those times. This is because, the “Bad Blood” singer had sold her Dassault Falcon 900 on the same day, January 30, 2024, as per the Federal Aviation Authority website, according to a February 6 report from Business Insider.
Moreover, Jack Sweeney, a college student, known for tracking celebrity aircraft was reportedly sent a cease and desist letter by Taylor Swift and her team. This was following accusations of stalking and harassment that were levied against him. He runs the account Taylor Swift Jets (Tracking) on X (formerly Twitter). He posted that the last few flights tracked on the account were around the time Swift had sold her Dassault 900 Falcon and that the short flights that were recorded were probably maintenance/demo flights, which are flights carried out to test whether jets were working and in top condition. This supports the possibility that Swift may not have been flying the jet during the two aforementioned short flights.
Sweeney had previously recorded a 13-minute flight time on X (formerly Twitter) on January 31, 2024.
Taylor Swift currently owns one private jet, a Dassault 7X Falcon.
