Since his introduction in The Boys Season 4, viewers have been wondering whether Colin Hauser (Elliot Knight) will die. Colin appears to be an old friend of Annie, whom he helped in the past. When Frenchie meets him for the first time, he works for Annie’s non-profit organization for struggling youths, Starlight House.
The Boys takes place in a nihilistic and uncaring world where superheroes exist, but they are corporate products and care little about ordinary people. Time and again, the series creators have made it clear that no character is safe. Given that Colin is a new supporting character in a season that promises much gore and violence, the viewers are right to be concerned about his fate.
Here is what we have learned about whether Colin dies in the fourth season of The Boys.
Does Colin die in The Boys Season 4?
As of Season 4 Episode 4, Colin is alive.
Frenchie confesses to Colin that he has murdered his family, prompting the latter to attack him. Colin nearly chokes Frenchie to death, with Frenchie making no attempt to resist or even ask the other man to do it. However, Colin ultimately stops and moves away. Before he leaves, he threatens Frenchie that he will kill him if he ever sees him again.
Given the severity of Frenchie’s transgressions against him, we are unlikely to see Colin again. This might be ultimately a good thing, as it will significantly lessen the chances of his death. We speculate that he will no longer be part of the Starlight House, and that will effectively remove him from the narrative.
However, his relationship with Frenchie is bound to have certain impacts on the plot going forward. It might force both Frenchie and Kimiko to reevaluate their relationship, which has had its share of issues in recent seasons. Frenchie may also have to reassess his involvement with The Boys.
