Nobody 2’s release date could arrive by 2025 at the earliest.
Talks about a potential sequel to Nobody have been around at least since March 2021. The film premiered on March 26, 2021, and went on to earn $57.5 million at the global box office against its $16 million budget. This amplified those talks. In August 2022, producer David Leitch confirmed that a sequel was happening. In an interview with Collider, he also said that all members of the team were eager to return to the Nobody universe.
Speaking to the same outlet in March 2024, producer Kelly McCormick said that the production for the sequel would likely begin by the end of 2024. Commenting on Nobody 2 and the sequel to Violent Night, she stated both Odenkirk and David Harbour were excited to reprise their respective roles.
Speaking about the scripts of both projects, McCormick elaborated, “We’re well into a couple of drafts and things are going super well, but there’s still a little work to do.”
Ilya Naishuller is the director of the original film and Derek Kolstad is the writer. According to reports, they are returning to perform the same duties in the sequel. If filming indeed begins in late 2024, Nobody 2 will likely come out in 2025 at the earliest.
