YouTube channel Foxstar Media, which is famous for putting out fan-made trailers of potential upcoming movies, recently launched a 2-minute-long teaser for Annabelle 4. The teaser has got 36k+ views at the moment of writing. Its description states that the film is coming out in 2025. You can watch it here if you haven’t:
The above trailer is fake as it uses old footage from The Conjuring Universe movies, bringing back Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as Ed and Lorraine Warren, respectively. Furthermore, Annabelle 4 hasn’t been put under development, so it cannot come out in 2025.
Are Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga returning for Annabelle 4?
Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are not returning for Annabelle 4 as the film isn’t confirmed to happen.
However, Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are confirmed to be back for The Conjuring: Last Rites. The film is yet to find a release date, but it’ll be the final Conjuring movie in the franchise and the last time we see Ed and Lorraine.
So, we shouldn’t expect another Annabelle movie to come out with Wilson and Farmiga. But a TV series set in The Conjuring Universe is currently under development, which will be released as an exclusive MAX show. Perhaps, Annabelle could have a cameo or a few references in the show. But whether the series gets followed by another outing of Annabelle or The Nun remains to be seen.
