Yes, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is getting an anime series.
It is a sequel to the Fairy Tail series by Hiro Mashima. Atsuo Ueda illustrated the sequel.
Kodansha began serializing the manga in July 2018 under their manga app, Magazine Pocket. Meanwhile, Kodansha USA began handling the English and North American releases of the manga in August 2019. As of writing, the series is still ongoing.
When is the Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest anime coming out?
Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is coming out in July 2024 as part of the summer line-up. The exact date has not been revealed yet. J.C. Staff is producing the show.

Many of the original cast and staff from the original Fairy Tail series are returning for the sequel. Shinji Ishihara is the chief director and Toshinori Watanabe is directing it. Yurika Sako is doing character designs, while Atsuhiro Tomioka is handling the series composition. Yasuharu Takanashi is in charge of music while Shoji Hata is the sound director.
The official synopsis of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest from Kodansha reads:
“Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Erza, and the whole Fairy Tail Guild are back in action! And they’ve decided to tackle the “100 Years Quest”—a job no one’s dared take on since the founding of the guild more than a century ago. A mysterious town, a baffling spirit, a ghastly new enemy…and a brand new continent to explore. When you’re with real friends, the adventures never stop!”
