Viewers of Millie Bobby Brown‘s new Netflix movie Damsel are asking if the film has an end-credits or post-credits scene. Here is your query answered. Beware of spoilers.
Does Damsel have a post-credits or end-credits scene?
No, Damsel does not have a post-credits or end-credits scene.
The latest Millie Bobby Brown movie does not have a mid or post-credits scene waiting at the end of the credits to greet audiences. Moreover, Damsel seems to be a standalone film by itself, as it does not in any way hint at a larger universe or crossovers with other characters in the future.
However, it is not surprising that fans would ask if a post-credits scene was present. Many recent films, primarily blockbusters, have incorporated post-credits scenes in their films after being inspired by Marvel films.
The end of Damsel sees Millie Bobby Brown’s Elodie unleash her fury upon the royal family of Aurea. This comes with the help of the dragon she decides not to kill. She spares it after realizing that it is not the real enemy. Instead, much like her, the dragon was wronged by the Royal Family of Aurea. The Family not only cheated young brides after their marriage by sacrificing them to the dragon but also wronged the dragon itself when the King tried to kill it for its blood, despite it not attacking Aurea.
Damsel’s ending also sees Prince Henry and his mother Queen Isabelle meet a grisly fate. They are scorched to death by the dragon. This comes despite Henry’s conscience and reluctance to sacrifice Floria earlier in the story. Elodie, Floria, and their stepmother Lady Bayford are then shown sailing away from Aurea and heading to their home kingdom, which the film reveals will now be ruled by a queen. The dragon is also shown flying alongside them to their home.
