Will There Be a Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 13 Release Date & Is It Coming Out?

Created by Larry David, HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm is a sitcom in which he portrays a fictionalized version of himself. Set in Los Angeles, the plot follows Larry David as he navigates life as a semi-retired screenwriter. The series premiered on October 15, 2000, with Season 12 debuting on February 4, 2024. If you are wondering whether there will be a thirteenth season of the series, this is what we have discovered.

Here’s all we know about Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 13 and whether or not it’s coming out.

Is there a Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 13 release date?

There is no Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 13 release date as the series is set to end after 12 seasons.

In December 2023, it was reported that Curb Your Enthusiasm would end after Season 12. David said in a statement, “As Curb comes to an end, I will now have the opportunity to finally shed this ‘Larry David’ persona and become the person God intended me to be – the thoughtful, kind, caring, considerate human being I was until I got derailed by portraying this malignant character.”

The series creator and star continued, “And so ‘Larry David,’ I bid you farewell. Your misanthropy will not be missed. And for those of you who would like to get in touch with me, you can reach me at Doctors Without Borders.”

This isn’t the first time David has said that he was done with the series. After Season 8, Curbs Your Enthusiasm went on a prolonged hiatus for five years. However, there is a sense of permanence in David’s announcement this time. “Yeah, I said it before,” Variety quoted David. “But I wasn’t 76 when I said it.”

Most of David’s co-stars believe that the series is really ending. “I thought, ‘We better be done,’ and I said, ‘We’re done, right?’ and he said, ‘Yeah, we’re done,’” Variety quoted Jeff Garlin. “And I was good with it. It was a very melancholy feeling when we wrapped up, but not so melancholy in terms of the big picture. I’m grateful.”

However, J. B. Smoove doesn’t seem to be entirely convinced. “I don’t trust Larry,” Variety also quoted the actor and comedian. “I think he’s going to get home, sitting around his fancy living room with his fancy little coffee table, drinking one of those espressos with his leg crossed over. He’s going to get bored. Larry is going to get bored, and Larry is going to call everybody one at a time. Might be two years from now, might be three years from now. Might be four. I don’t know when but Larry will get bored.”

Either way, as of Februay 2024, it appears that Curb Your Enthusiasm is ending. ComingSoon will provide an update if the circumstances change.

The cast of Curb Your Enthusiasm includes Larry David as himself (a fictionalized version), Jeff Garlin as Jeff Greene, Cheryl Hines as Cheryl David, Susie Essman as Susie Greene, J. B. Smoove as Leon Black, and more.

Why Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 13 isn’t happening

Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 13 isn’t coming out because, as mentioned above, the series will conclude after 12 seasons.

The official synopsis for Curb Your Enthusiasm reads:

“The off-kilter, unscripted comic vision of Larry David, who plays himself in a parallel universe in which he can’t seem to do anything right, and, by his standards, neither can anyone else.”
