As seen in the previous chapter, Saturn was listening in on the conversation between Kuma and Vegapunk at Egghead Island. In this chapter, Saturn forces Kuma to be one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea (Shichibukai) and a mindless cyborg. Otherwise, Kuma and Bonney will be arrested.
Kuma agrees to Saturn’s conditions but in exchange, he negotiates for Bonney’s safety. Kuma’s surgery takes 2 years while Bonney’s takes 6 months but needs a year to recover. Once the deal was settled, Kuma and Bonney grew closer to Vegapunk, Sentomaru, and even Kizaru. When their surgeries were finished, Bonney returned to Sorbet Kingdom. Meanwhile, Kuma turns into a Warlord.
The chapter reveals some of the reactions of the other Warlords in relation to Kuma. Many were surprised, while others didn’t care that much. Meanwhile, the last part of the chapter shows Kuma sending a letter to Bonney where he is expressing gratitude for her. The chapter’s title is related to Kuma’s letter to Bonney.
The last panels of the chapter are still related to the flashback. It shows Kuma arriving at Foosha Village (Luffy’s hometown). He gets a call from a government agent saying that they have an order for him. The last page also shows a teenage Luffy running away from a tiger in the forest.
The information reveals that the series will not be on break next week.
One Piece Chapter 1100 will be released in the United States on Sunday, December 3, at 10 AM ET / 9 AM CT / 7 AM PT.
