A Girl & Her Guard Dog is an anime TV show adaptation of the namesake Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hatsuharu. The plot follows Isaku Senagaki, a high school student who has no friends because she is the granddaughter of a high-ranking yakuza boss. Hoping to make friends and even find love, Isaku starts attending a school long away from her hometown. However, yakuza member Keiya Utō unexpectedly also enrolls at the same school to keep her safe.
