Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 242 Spoilers Recap
The battle between Takaba and Kenjaku continues. As Kenjaku brings out a special grade curse, it immediately gets hit by Takaba’s truck. The scene switches to Kenjaku as a police officer investigating Takaba for the truck incident. The breathalyzer Takaba breathes into has a bag with a dead goldfish in it.
Suddenly, Takaba and Kenjaku become doctors trying to heal the fish but they fail. Takaba gets sad while Kenjaku turns into a nurse. Takaba doesn’t think it’s funny and he ends up screaming at Kenjaku. The next scene shows them playing rock, paper, scissors.
Kenjaku figures out that Takaba’s Cursed Technique is not just Takaba’s imagination becoming real, but the same goes for his opponent’s imagination and Takaba’s imagination utilizes it. The scene changes to a quiz-type game. They run towards the same door to answer a question. However, as Takaba is running, he overhears someone asking for help and sees a cat trying to cross the street while a taxi speeds up. He tries to help but the cat turns out to be Kenjaku and Takaba gets hit instead.
Kenjaku realizes how the fight has to go and he challenges Takaba to a fight to become a stand-up comedian.
