A Girl & Her Guard Dog is an anime TV show adaptation of a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hatsuharu. The plot revolves around Isaku Senagaki, a high schooler who has no friends because everyone is intimidated by the fact that she is the granddaughter of a high-ranking yakuza boss. Desperate, Isaku starts attending a school long away from her hometown with the hope of finally making some friends and even finding love. Things take an unexpected turn when Keiya Utō, a member of the yakuza, enrolls in the same school to keep her safe.
