Saw X: Is It the Last & Final Jigsaw Movie?

With Saw X out in the theaters, fans are wondering if it is the last and final Jigsaw movie featuring John Kramer, played by Tobin Bell. Is his narrative all wrapped up? Will Jigsaw return after this one? Here’s all the information you need to know.

Is Saw X the last movie?

No, Saw X is unlikely to be the last movie in the franchise.

The film’s producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules have already discussed sequel plans. Speaking with ComicBook.com, Koules confirmed Saw XI plans a few days before release saying:

“We’re kind of superstitious. We tend not to get too far ahead of ourselves. The movie’s going to be released in a few days. For us, we do have ideas for the next one, we haven’t put pen to paper.”

It seems like Saw X will not be the final film. However, a big factor in getting sequels greenlit in the present day is for the latest outing to be profitable. Since every Saw movie has turned a profit, and the horror movie fever is currently taking over Hollywood, Saw X is also predicted to be successful. Hence, the chances for another Saw movie are high.

Will there be another Saw movie with Jigsaw?

Yes, there will likely be another Saw movie as a sequel to Saw X was set up by its mid-credits scene.

Is Saw X the last movie

The movie’s final scene brings back the beloved franchise character Detective Mark Hoffman to start a brutal new game. His return was set up throughout the movie. So, he along with Jigsaw/John Kramer and Amanda will appear in the next Saw outing.

With the WGA strikes now over, the Saw 11 script will likely be written sooner rather than later. Hence, we could get to see Saw 11 sometime in 2025 or 2026, depending on how fast the development process is.
