Rambo 6’s release date is highly anticipated, owing to the long-standing success of the franchise. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Sylvester Stallone back on their screens as the iconic character John Rambo, who he first played in 1982’s First Blood. Considering the fifth Rambo franchise, Rambo: Last Blood, was released in 2019, fans have been waiting patiently for some time to see when the sixth installment will be released.
Here’s all the Rambo 6 release date information we know so far, and all the details on when it is coming out.
Is there a Rambo 6 release date?
As of now, there isn’t an official release date for Rambo 6. Producers Kevin King-Templeton and Les Weldon spoke to Coming Soon about bringing back the franchise while talking about Stallone-led Expendables 4. They expressed interest in resurrecting John Rambo if the required conditions are met. They said, “You know, it’s, again, it becomes a matter of if, if there is a demand from the fan base, we’ll be the first ones to jump on there…”
While there is still some hope for a sixth installment, fans will be disappointed to know that Stallone won’t be playing the role of Rambo anymore. JoBlo.com’s Facebook page shared an interview snippet of Stallone talking about bidding goodbye to the iconic character. He said, “Rambo, I could leave him. He’s done pretty much…even though they want to do another one, but what am I fighting? Arthritis?”
As of now, nothing about Rambo’s sixth installment is confirmed. However, if the producers decide to further the story, they will have to find someone as suitable for the role as Stallone has built it to be. Fans will only have to hope and pray for the movie to return.
