The 2026 and 2027 potential release dates for the fifth film in the series are due to the 2-4-year time gap between the releases of the previous four John Wick films. For instance, the first film came out in 2014, followed by the second film in 2017, the third in 2019, and finally the fourth in 2023.

At the moment, aside from Keanu Reeves being expected to return as John Wick for the fifth film, nothing else is known about the cast.
