When is the predicted Borderlands streaming release date?
Borderlands currently has a theatrical release date of August 9, 2024. Thus, fans can expect the film to drop on streaming platforms by January 2025.
The January 2025 streaming release date for Borderlands is because of Lionsgate’s practice of releasing its theatrical films on streaming platforms five to six months after its run in theaters. For example, John Wick 4, a Lionsgate-distributed movie, will have its streaming release on September 26, 2023, roughly five to six months after its theatrical release on March 24, 2023.
The story of Borderlands will see an infamous outlaw named Lillith team up with a group of unlikely allies to fight aliens, bandits, and monsters. Lilith and her allies will also try to find and protect a missing girl who has the potential to unlock unimaginable power.
Cate Blanchett stars as Lilith in Borderlands. Other cast members include Kevin Hart as Roland, Jack Black as Claptrap, Ariana Greenblatt as Tiny Tina, Florian Munteanu as Krieg, Janina Gavankar as Commander Knoxx, and Jamie Lee Curtis as Dr. Patricia Tannis.
Is Borderlands coming out on streaming?
Borderlands will be available to watch via streaming on Starz.
Borderlands will stream on Starz because the streaming platform is owned by Lionsgate, the production company that holds distribution rights to the film.
Current Starz subscribers can watch the film when it drops on the platform. A Starz subscription costs $8.99 a month.

“After returning to her home planet Pandora, infamous outlaw, Lilith, is given a dangerous mission and forms an alliance (and potential friendship) with other criminals; including former mercenary Roland, demolitionist Tiny Tina and her protector Krieg, insane scientist Tannis, and the wisecracking robot Claptrap. The mission: find and protect the missing (and important) daughter of a very powerful man named Atlas. Although things may not be as they seem as the girl holds the key to great power, one that can change the fate of the entire universe.”
