Parks and Recreation completed its seven-season run on February 24, 2015. This was followed by a special that was released five years later on April 30, 2020. Following the completion of the seven seasons of Parks and Recreation, however, fans have been curious about the possibility of an eighth season.

Is there a Parks and Recreation Season 8 release date?
Unfortunately, Parks and Recreation decided to end after seven seasons. Thus, Parks and Recreation Season 8 will not be happening and as such does not have a release date.
However, Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler, who played Leslie Knope in the series, has expressed interest in Season 8. In an interview with Digital Spy at the premiere of Russian Doll Season 2, Poehler stated that “she is always standing by” and waiting for the creators to give her the call to reprise her role.
Parks and Recreation follows Leslie Knope, a mid-level bureaucrat in the Parks and Recreation department of Pawnee, Indiana, and her efforts to make life in her town better.
Aside from Amy Poehler, Parks and Recreation also stars Aziz Ansari as Tom Haverford, Nick Offerman as Ron Swanson, Aubrey Plaza as April Ludgate-Dwyer, Chris Pratt as Andy Dwyer, Jim O’Heir as Jerry Gergich, Rashida Jones as Ann Perkins, and Adam Scott as Ben Wyatt.
Where is Parks and Recreation Season 8 coming out?
Parks and Recreation Season 8 will not come out on NBC as the series ended after seven seasons.

“Hilarious ensemble comedy that follows Leslie Knope, a mid-level bureaucrat in the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Indiana, and her tireless efforts to make her quintessentially American town just a little bit more fun.”
