After Agatha’s debut in WandaVision, all eyes are now set on her own solo series, Agatha: Coven of Chaos. The series promises to be a magical adventure that will connect with other stories in the MCU. Fans are eagerly anticipating its arrival on Disney Plus. But when will it be released? Agatha: Coven of Chaos’s release date could arrive by late 2024.
Agatha: Coven of Chaos was initially announced for a release in Winter 2023-2024. However, the series is currently filming, and production won’t wrap for another two months. So, with all the MCU delays, this one has likely been pushed back for about a year.
MCU’s 2024 schedule of live-action Disney Plus shows includes Ironheart, and at least the first half of Daredevil: Born Again. Since Ironheart wrapped up its production long ago, it will be the first one to arrive, and Daredevil: Born Again should follow it as per schedule. Only after that would we get Agatha: Coven of Chaos. With the delays in its production and the scale of the series, it’s likely that Marvel will take its time on Agatha’s post-production and release it in Fall / Winter 2024.

What Agatha: Coven of Chaos is about?
Reports suggest that Agatha: Coven of Chaos will practically be a second season for WandaVision as it continues the story after that and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Wanda trapped her in a mind prison towards the end of her own series. But now that she is supposedly dead, Agatha will be free from her spell. However, she’d become a new antihero in the MCU as we’d see her take on the Coven of Witches that she used to belong to.

WandaVision cast members include Debra Jo Rupp as Sharon Davis/ Mrs. Hart and Emma Caulfield as Sarah Proctor / Dottie are returning. Along with them, we’d see Joe Locke as Billy / Wiccan, Patti LuPone as Lilia Calderu, Aubrey Plaza as the main villain, Sacha Baron Cohen as Mephisto, and Selena Gomez in an undisclosed role.
