The new Secret Invasion clip shows Everett Ross (played by Martin Freeman) exploring an underground area in Moscow during the present day. He is on the phone with someone and tells them “Don’t move.” as he tries to find them. Armed with a pistol, he exits the underground and navigates down a street before entering a building set up with surveillance equipment.
The viewer is then introduced to Agent Prescod, who reveals that Skrulls have been behind multiple terrorist attacks, building up chaos with the aim of claiming the earth for themselves. Prescod gives Ross information to pass on to Nick Fury, the only person known to have contact with the Skrulls. The clip ends with Prescod suddenly tackling Ross, though we aren’t sure why. The clip is followed by a previously released trailer.
It’s quite the opening and I’m sure fans will be desperate to learn what happens next. The good news is that there isn’t much longer to wait, as Secret Invasion airs on Disney Plus on June 21. Expect to see this short clip again, only with the rest of the episode following it!
