Yamada visits Akane at the convenience store. She asks him to wait for her because she cooked him a meal to say thanks. Akane’s co-worker teases her, asking if she likes Yamada. Akane briefly reflects on it, happy that a game brought them closer together. She wonders if it’s acceptable to see Yamada from a romantic point of view. Later, Akane talks to Momo about Yamada while Momo is doing Akane’s nails. Momo points out that Akane hasn’t said anything about what she wants to do.
Runa calls Akane, saying there’s a crisis in the guild. The two meet up, and Runa starts panicking because a new female player is joining their guild. Akane says it’s unexpected of Yamada to bring a girl to the guild. Runa saves Yamada’s number in Akane’s phone. She asks Akane to do some digging on her behalf.
