Is Kelly Ripa so skinny because of a new diet?
Kelly Ripa hasn’t shared any info about a new diet or commented on any new weight loss. However, earlier this year, her nutritionist, Dr. Daryl Gioffre, revealed her daily nutritional intake on E!.
Ripa’s nutritionist, Dr. Daryl Gioffre, said that on a typical day, she consumes:
- Breakfast:
- One glass of water with a scoop of dehydrated greens.
- One cup of coffee blended with grass-fed butter.
- After Filming:
- A snack of mashed green apple mixed with a few tablespoons of almond butter and a teaspoon of cinnamon.
- Lunch:
- A salad topped with microgreens, sprouts, avocado, and raw nuts.
- Dinner:
- A salad.
- Steamed or sauteed vegetables, or grilled greens
- Grilled tofu, tahini, or fish protein
- Desert:
- Avocado chocolate mousse
Gioffre also revealed that Ripa consumes raw nuts for snacks throughout the day.
Ripa also exercises six days a week. In 2023, she revealed her routine primarily consists of dance aerobics.
Many have speculated that Ripa has an eating disorder or that she’s using weight-loss drugs, but there’s no evidence that either of those things is the case. It’s important to remember that body positivity works both ways. Shaming someone for being “too skinny” is that same as doing it to someone who is “too fat.” It’s up to Ripa to determine what’s right for her body, and as of writing there’s no indicator that her choices are detrimental to her health.
