The Vanderpump Rules Season 11 finale saw the feud between Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix get heated even further, leading people to wonder whether the show will be canceled due to that. Has Vanderpump Rules Season 12 been delayed indefinitely? Here’s everything you need to know.
Has Vanderpump Rules been canceled after Season 11?
Vanderpump Rules has not been canceled after Season 11 at the moment of writing. However, things could be very different moving forward. It’s been widely reported that the cast won’t return to film Season 12 in Summer 2024.
They never got to process Tom Sandoval’s “Scandoval” as Season 11 began filming soon after Ariana Madix found out about the affair of her longtime boyfriend Sandoval and her best friend, Rachel Leviss. This blew over big time in the Season 11 finale, following which the cast is going on a hiatus.
But now, the representatives of the show have confirmed that Vanderpump Rules has not been canceled and isn’t ending just yet. However, on May 7, Entertainment Tonight quoted a source as saying:
“There’s always a possibility of a cast shakeup, or having the legacy cast members move to The Valley, but no decisions have been made yet.”
Theories of Ariana Madix exiting the show and the likes of Scheana Shay and Lala Kent moving permanently to the Vanderpump Rules spinoff, The Valley, have already begun to stir up. But nothing is confirmed at the moment. All that fans can be sure of is that the show will eventually return, even though it may never be the same.
Has Vanderpump Rules Season 12 been delayed indefinitely?
Vanderpump Rules Season 12 could be delayed as the series isn’t filming in its usual summer window. The cast is reportedly taking a break to process the Scandoval, but the extent of the break period hasn’t been revealed.
Furthermore, Madix is scheduled to host Love Island Season 6 in Fiji in the summer. Whether she returns for another Vanderpump Rules season remains to be seen. However, Season 12 could still be predicted to return in mid-late 2025 if the hiatus ends later in 2024 and the cast returns to production.
