Ahead of Gamescom this week in Cologne, Germany, DICE has revealed a new Battlefield 1 gameplay trailer featuring both aerial and equine combat and a tease of the Lawrence of Arabia Pack that fans can experience when the game arrives on October 21st, 2016 (on Xbox One, Origin for PC, and PlayStation 4). In addition, it was announced that the Battlefield 1 Beta will begin August 31 and players can sign up as a Battlefield Insider to be eligible to receive early access to the Open Beta. The Battlefield 1 Open Beta will feature two franchise favorite modes – Conquest and Rush – on the new Sinai Desert map. Playable with up to 64 players, this map includes a new controllable Armored Train behemoth, ridable horses and three new Elite Classes – Sentry, Flame Trooper and Tank Hunter. The demo will take place on all three systems simultaneously.
