Late last year, the first details on the next entry in the “Assassin’s Creed” franchise leaked, revealing that the game would take place in Victorian London and carry the code name “Victory.” Now, Ubisoft has revealed they will officially unveil the new game on Tuesday, May 12 at 1 P.M. EST. You can check out the teaser video below.
Ubisoft Quebec is developing the next entry in the series, having previously helped out with many of the other games in the series and heading up the DLC campaigns for Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Unlike 2014’s duel release of “Unity” and “Rogue,” the previous report on the game indicated that 2015 will see only one “Assassin’s Creed” game released which will be solely on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Last year’s next-gen release Assassin’s Creed: Unity, set in Paris during the French Revolution, went on to sell over 6 million copies worldwide, over three times the amount that “Rogue” sold.
