In the new trailer, which is a whopping 6-minutes long and voiced over in Japanese, a narrator gives a brief overview of the upcoming game. While some fans are likely to not understand the narration, the trailer does still give a great look at how battling Pokémon will look like, with many battles not looking as easy as they have in the past.
You can check out the new Pokémon Legends: Arceus trailer below:
Unlike previous Pokémon entries, battling Pokémon won’t be as easy as simply hitting them with a few attacks and tossing a Pokéball at them. In Arceus, players will have to actively battle them, with some of the bigger Pokémon such as Snorlax even shown to be ready to attack the trainer themselves.
Aside from Pokémon battles, the new trailer also delves into exploration and how players will traverse Hisui, the new area found in the game. Players will be able to set up camp while on the hunt for Pokémon to fill out their Pokédex, and use that time to plan ahead and also heal up their team of Pokémon.
