Bethesda’s latest new IP, Starfield, is one of the most anticipated games of the future, with fans anxious to see any and everything that the studio has to offer. On Thursday, Bethesda offered up some insight on the game in the form of three videos that shed some light on in-game locations.

The three videos are very brief but highlight three cities found within the game. All three are narrated by Starfield’s design director Emil Pagliarulo and aim to show off a variety of different places players can check out when the game launches next year.
You can check out the three videos below:
The first, Akila, is the capital of the Freestar Collective. Described as a “loose confederation of three distinct star systems,” Starfield’s design director Emil Pagliarulo notes that the people of Akila believe in the sanctity of personal freedom and individuality. However, the walled city of Akila poses some threats, as on the other side of the wall, the Ashta — a group of “alien predators that are a cross between a wolf and a velociraptor” — are always on the lookout.
The second location is the “pleasure city” of Neon, a giant fishing platform that houses and supplies a drug known as Aurora that comes from a fish with psychotropic properties found on the planet. Finally, there’s New Atlantis, the United Colonies (or U.C.) capital city, and “a true melting pot” of a city. According to Pagliarulo, New Atlantis is more of a “true reflection” of what the future of our world may look like.
