Sony and Microsoft have both announced the slate of October 2018 free games that will be available to subscribing PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold members.
PlayStation Plus members will receive Friday the 13th: The Game, where players can take on the role of a teen counselor or Jason Voorhees. As a teen counselor, you and six other players will either hide from Jason, work together to escape or bring the fight to the masked killer. Members will also receive Laser League, a new multiplayer experience that becomes a strategic competition with deep team tactics.

Also this month, for fans of H1Z1, members will receive the PlayStation Plus Blueshift Pack, which includes the Blue AR-15 schematic, Pro Gamer Hoodie, and Marine Blue Offroader. The PS Plus lineup also includes Master Reboot and The Bridge for the PlayStation 3, as well as Rocketbirds 2: Evolution and 2064 Read Only Memories for the PS Vita. Xbox Live Gold members will receive four new free games — two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360 — as part of the Games with Gold Program. On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download Overcooked for free during the month of October. Victor Vran will be available as a free download from October 16th to November 15.
On Xbox 360, starting October 1st Stuntman: Ignition will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through October 15. Then on October 16, Xbox Live Gold members can download Hitman: Blood Money for free through October 31st. You can subscribe to Xbox Live Gold via this link.
