As pre-orders for the SNES Classic Edition reminded players of Princess Peach being in another castle, Nintendo has announced that they will increase shipments for the mini-retro console when it launches on September 29. The special edition console will have more units shipped than last year’s NES Classic Edition with subsequent shipments arriving in stores regularly.
The 21 games included on the console will be:

- Kirby’s Dream Course
- The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

- Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting
- Super Castlevania IV
- Super Ghouls ’n Ghosts
- Super Mario Kart
- Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
- Super Mario World
- Super Metroid
- Super Punch-Out!!
- Yoshi’s Island
Included with the Super Nintendo Entertainment System: Super NES Classic Edition are one HDMI cable, one USB charging cable with AC adapter and two wired Super NES Classic Controllers, perfect for playing multiplayer games. Having two controllers will make it easy for two players to dive into multiplayer action right away. Some of the games with multiplayer options include Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting, Super Mario Kart, Contra III The Alien Wars and Secret of Mana. The console will retail for $79.99.
Speaking of the NES Classic Edition, Nintendo has revealed that last year’s runaway success will return to stores in summer 2018, having previously announced they would cease at the end of the calendar year. NES Classic Edition features 30 classic NES games such as the original Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda and Donkey Kong.
