DLC features roguelite elements, new season also coming
In the DLC, players will have to climb the Spire of Order, and battle against a variety of different enemies on different floors, all while completing different objectives. Throughout the floors, you’ll also gain different abilities that can be upgraded and permanently kept along your run.
The trailer makes it seem like the DLC has some roguelite aspects, with Nintendo noting that the campaign is designed to be replayed over and over again.
Alongside the game’s DLC, Nintendo also teased that a new season of content would be coming to Splatoon 3 beginning on March 1. The new season will see new multiplayer stages, weapons, and items.
