Nintendo has officially announced the September Nintendo Direct date and time ahead of the conference set to discuss upcoming Nintendo Switch games.
When is the September Nintendo Direct?
The September Nintendo Direct date and time has been set for September 14, 2023, at 10 a.m. EDT. According to Nintendo’s tweet confirming the news, the Direct will last roughly 40 minutes and will focus mainly on Nintendo Switch titles set to release in the winter.
While it’s unknown exactly what Nintendo will have in store for fans, its winter lineup does include games like Detective Pikachu Returns, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, WarioWare: Move It!, and more. It’s unknown if games currently scheduled for release in 2024, like Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, will be covered in any capacity.
Other rumors for what the Direct may hold include news of Nintendo’s next hardware console, as well as news on potential remakes and remasters of titles from the Zelda and Metroid franchise. However, due to Nintendo already confirming that the focus will mainly be on winter titles, it’s unlikely there will be many big surprises.
