Focus Entertainment and Asobo Studio are set to return to the world of A Plague Tale in Requiem, a follow-up to their 2019 grimdark action-adventure.
During today’s Xbox showcase, A Plague Tale: Requiem took center stage with a showcase of gameplay running on Xbox Series X. From floods of rats to deep shadows, it’s a marked improvement over what came before.

Requiem continues the story of Amica and Hugo as they venture into new territory. Along the way, the pair can utilize Hugo’s reawakened powers to summon rats to devour all their foes. Of course, action isn’t always the answer, and Amica still has all the skulking skills she learned in the first game.
“Watch out. There’s a killer around here.”

In addition to the new game, A Plague Tale is stretching into the world of TV. An official adaption was announced by French director Mathieu Turi back in March, with production remaining in the country to stay close to the creators of the world.
