April is fast approaching, and with it comes a fresh batch of Games With Gold for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. This month, it’s an indie-heavy lineup, featuring colorful platformers, classic strategy games, and one entry in a long-running sports franchise with Another Sight, Hue, Outpost Kaloki X, and MX vs ATV Alive. As usual, all four games will be free to claim for subscribers over the month of April, with Xbox 360’s backward compatible lineup becoming permanent additions to your library. The Xbox One releases will be playable as long as you continue to re-up your Gold subscription.

Starting on April 1, Another Sight and Outpost Kaloki X will hit the service. Another Sight is a surreal side-scrolling puzzle platformer that was originally released in 2018. The game takes place in a steampunk-filled London at the turn of the 20th century and has players switch between a young girl and her pet cat as they explore the underground.
Outpost Kaloki X is one of the earliest games released on Xbox Live Arcade, originally premiering on Windows back in 2004 before its 2005 360 release. A city-building strategy game developed by NinjaBee, Kaloki retains the unique sense of humor and quality gameplay seen in their Keflings series and Cloning Clyde.
On April 16, Gold subscribers can pick up both Hue and MX vs ATV Alive gratis from the Xbox store. Hue is a much-touted platformer all about finding the right color for each situation. Originally released back in 2016, this stylish trip brings a little more saturation to a Limbo-style campaign.

Finally, those interested in extreme sports can sample 2011’s MX vs ATV Alive. Developed in the dying days of the original THQ, Alive is the fourth of the long-running motocross series. Fans who haven’t tried out this particular entry could see it as a sampler platter to the just-announced MX vs. ATV Legends, which should release later this year.
