The Silent Hill-esque trailer has Wake narrating, hinting at monsters and darkness. Creative Director Sam Lake said that this game will be a survival horror title and not an action horror title like its predecessor. He also stated that the team had been dreaming of making this game and iterating on it and that it will be “a pretty scary experience.”
“This is the perfect genre to bring together the story and gameplay closer than ever before because the horror story is at the very heart of this,” he said.
