Cuphead‘s DLC has been highly anticipated since its announcement at E3 2018. Fans have patiently been waiting since, only hear silence and news of delays. However, Studio MDHR has finally revealed the Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course DLC release date. The expansion will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on June 30, 2022.
This DLC adds a fourth island to the game full of new bosses and challenges. Some of these bosses are more complicated than those found in the main game as the team says that some boss phases have more frames of animations than some entire fights in the core game.

Cuphead and Mugman will also now have access to new weapons and charms. But the DLC also adds Ms. Chalice, a new playable character. She has her own abilities and moves a little differently, but those differences were not highlighted. Players can also play as her in the base campaign, too.
The story of The Delicious Last Course features all three characters as the trio go after the mystery surrounding the Legendary Chalice. Chef Saltbaker will also feature into the storyline.

Studio MHDR has been teasing the DLC since its announcement on June 10, 2018. Since then, the team has delayed the expansion multiple times and only showed off one true trailer that gave a peek at two of the bosses. It was even announced before the core game hit PlayStation 4 in July 2020.
