Avengers' Spider-Man Voice Actor Revealed

Crystal Dynamics Reveals Spider-Man Voice Actor for Avengers Game

After a long wait, Crystal Dynamics showed what Avengers‘ Spider-Man looked like in action and then unveiled what his in-game costumes will be. He spoke in his debut trailer, but the team didn’t disclose who was providing the voice. Earlier this week, Crystal Dynamics revealed that voice actor Sean Chiplock would be the one portraying the web slinger.

The game’s official Twitter account tweeted the news on Tuesday just after posting a small animated teaser for the Spider-Man DLC. The teaser shows more Chiplock’s Spidey, as he narrates the whole thing and speaks about finally working with a team while livestreaming.

Chiplock is mostly known for his anime and video game work. His biggest character is Natsuki Subaru from ReZero: Starting Life in Another World but his other anime roles include Guido Mista in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind and Demon in the Bog from Demon Slayer: Kimtesu No Yaiba. He’s also provided additional voices in many video games (even Spider-Man: Miles Morales, coincidentally), but his most prominent roles are Revali in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Matsui in Lost Judgment, and, surprisingly, Noob Saibot in Mortal Kombat 11, a role that’s almost unrecognizable when compared to his others.

Users will be able to hear more of Chiplock’s Spider-Man on November 30 when the Spider-Man-specific War Table will be streamed, which is also one day before his release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
