Mark Burg and Oren Koules, founders of Twisted Pictures and producers of the Saw franchise, recently took part in a Reddit AMA session and revealed plans for a Saw video game are still in the works.

During the session, which took place on the Horror subreddit, the duo was asked whether or not any plans for future Saw video games on current-gen consoles. The answer will undoubtedly please fans of the iconic horror series, as the duo said that a new game is definitely in the works.
“100%,” the reply from the duo read. “Lionsgate has brought us some amazing projects we are exploring now. But it will 100% happen.”

It’s unclear exactly what the potential games would be about, but it would mark the first entry in the Saw series as a video game since 2010’s Saw II: Flesh & Blood. The first two video games based on the Saw franchise were not received well, but with the recent boom in horror-themed video content, it wouldn’t be shocking to see the franchise get another game treatment sooner rather than later.
