The rumored Warner Bros. Smash Bros.-like platform fighter has picked up steam in the past few days. It stared as a mere internet leak that increasingly got more convincing as more sources chimed in. And now, an image showing part of the roster has allegedly leaked.
y’all thought I was lying, huh?

The image comes from Hungrybox on Twitter, who is famous for his Jigglypuff in Smash Bros. Yesterday, he tweeted out that the game will be free-to-play and include crossplay and voice acting. These features and payment model are worth pointing out since they are the complete opposite to the recently released Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. Regardless, he went back to Twitter and posted a picture of the reported roster to back up his claims.
The partial cast reveal has a new character in the top left but is joined by Steven Universe, Batman, Harley Quinn, Jake and Finn from Adventure Time, Gandalf from Lord of the Rings, Wonder Woman, Shaggy from Scooby-Doo, Rick from Rick & Morty, Bugs Bunny, and Tom & Jerry. LiquidHbox uploaded a video about it but Warner Bros. got it taken down through copyright claims, further giving the report some credence.

Some of these characters also showed up in prior leaks about the game. But even though LiquidHbox insists that the game will be free-to-play while GamesBeat said that WB was debating its pricing model, a lot of these reports line up rather well.
Warner Bros. has not announced the game and it’s not clear when it will, if such a thing truly exists. But the evidence is stacking up.
