The world of Far Cry 6 is already set to be one of the most unique and chaotic locations that Ubisoft has ever made, but the post-launch plans for the game make it sound even crazier.

On Friday, Ubisoft detailed the post-launch roadmap for Far Cry 6, revealing that three free “crossover missions” would be coming to the game, each playable in single-player or in co-op. The first will star none other than actor Danny Trejo, as in-game Dani Rojas will help Trejos feed his Trejos Tacos to the people of Yara. Of course, Trejo is armed with his iconic machete just in case anything goes wrong.
The next mission will see players team up with a Rambo Superman against the Yaran military in Rambo: All the Blood, a special mission that is said to be straight out of an ’80s action blockbuster. Finally, players will travel to the supernatural realm, as Far Cry 6 teams up with Stranger Things to present a mission named The Vanishing. In it, players will try to figure out what happened to friend Chorizo.
Alongside the three free missions, a ton of other content was also confirmed, including six special operations missions that will each have their own twist, weekly insurgencies that will give players the ability to take part in special missions with exclusive rewards.

Far Cry 6 will also feature a Season Pass, which will net players a bunch of goods, including three missions that will allow players to take over some of the most iconic villains in Far Cry history. The first episode, titled Vaas: Insanity, will launch in November, while the next two episodes — Pagan: Control and Joseph: Collapse — will launch in January and March 2022, respectively. In total, the Far Cry 6 Season Pass will include:
Three DLC episodes:
- Episode 1: Vaas: Insanity planned for release in November 2021.
- Episode 2: Pagan: Control planned for release in January 2022.
- Episode 3: Joseph: Collapse planned for release in March 2022.
Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon: On PC, Season Pass holders will receive the original game released in 2013, while console players will receive Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon: Classic Edition, remastered for current-gen consoles. (Available on Stadia in 2022.)

Far Cry 6 will launch on October 7, 2021, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia, and PC.
